💊 Medications

Prescriptions, doses and a record of every dose given.

What is prescribed

Each resident's medications with dosage, frequency and time of day. Added by hand, or read from a photograph of the prescription.

What has been given

The caregiver marks a dose as taken at the moment it is given. The record shows what was given and when, not what was supposed to happen.

Who may record it

Only the caregiver responsible for that resident. Family members can see the medications and whether doses were given, but cannot mark anything themselves.

Reminders

Doses due are shown on the caregiver's phone, so a busy shift does not mean a missed round.

A medication record is only useful if it reflects what actually happened. Recording at the bedside, by the person who gave the dose, is the only way to get that.
